Graham Road Covered Bridge

Graham Road Covered Bridge

The Graham Road Covered Bridge was moved in 1971 and rests on dry land in a nearby park site in Peierpont Township in scenic Ashtabula County, Ohio.  The Graham Road Bridge was  constructed in 1913 and was fashioned out of pieces the Calendar Road Bridge (built in 1867) after it had washed downstream during a flood of the Ashtabula River.  It is 97 feet long and has a Town lattice truss and weathered siding.

You don’t happen to have a pic. or postcard of the Ashtabula Bridge that collapsed in 1856? do you. I might be a year or two off, but if you know what I’m talking about, you’ll know. Just curious.
