Sachs Covered Bridges

Sachs Covered Bridge

Adams County, Pennsylvania

Used by Civil War troops in the battle of Gettysburg, Sachs covered bridge is a popular tourist spectacle.  David Stoner built the 100 foot long bridge in 1854.  Out of service to automobile traffic, it remains popular with photographers, civil war enthusiasts and fishermen.

A fabulous covered bridge card from a Postcrossing pal !!!

It is located in Gettysburg National Park and both armies used it in the Battle of Gettysburg.

I found rumors of it being haunted by Confederate soldiers.
