Mt Hood and the Blooming Fruit Orchards of the Hood River Valley

Mt Hood and the Blooming Fruit Orchards

Card Caption:

Pear trees in the Upper Hood River Valley burst into full blossom each April, while deep winter snow blankets the north face of Mount Hood.  At 11,240 ft (3,426 m), Mount Hood is Oregon’s highest peak and most recently active volcano.  It last erupted a little over 200 years ago.
